Glover Renovations  Painting & Decorating
 

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Glover Renovations .
“Customer” refers to the person or entity requesting services.
“Works” refers to painting and decorating services provided by the Company.

"Quotation" refers to the estimation given after assessing the works to be carried out and estimation of costs are given to client

2. Quotations & Acceptance

• All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

• A quotation becomes a binding contract once accepted in writing (including email or text confirmation).

• Any changes to the agreed Works may result in additional charges.

 

3. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are as stated in the quotation unless varied in writing.

• A deposit may be required before work begins.

• The balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

• Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs where legally permitted

 

4. Preparation & Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

• Provide clear access to the work area

• Remove fragile or valuable items where possible

• Ensure utilities (electricity, water) are available

• Inform the Company of any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, structural issues)

Failure to do so may result in delays or additional charges.

 

5. Materials

• Materials are selected as agreed in the quotation.

• Colour choices must be confirmed before ordering.

• The Company is not responsible for manufacturer defects in paints or materials.

 

6. Completion & Delays

• Estimated start and completion dates are approximate.

• The Company is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g., weather, supplier delays, illness).

• Access restrictions or changes requested by the Customer may extend timelines.

 

7. Workmanship Guarantee

• The Company guarantees workmanship for 2 months from completion.

• This does not cover normal wear and tear, structural defects, damp issues, or damage caused by others.

 

8. Liability

• The Company will carry appropriate public liability insurance.

• Liability is limited to the value of the contract.

• The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

 

9. Health & Safety

• The Company will carry out work in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations.

• Equipment and materials will be stored safely during the project.

• Customers must ensure children and pets are kept clear of work areas.

 

10. Cancellations

• The Customer may cancel prior to commencement, but deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered.

• If cancelled after work has started, the Customer must pay for work completed and materials purchased.

 

11. Complaints

Any concerns must be raised in writing within 7 days of completion. The Company will be given reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify any defects.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England , and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
